Accommodation

Tom Roberts Adventure Centre is ideal for groups of all ages and comprises: 22 acres of farmland with a range of farm buildings, now converted into accommodation and activity areas with boating lake plus a farmhouse currently occupied by our resident Centre Manager.

We have a total of 41 indoor bed spaces, 'Stables One' with 4 bunk beds, 'Stables Two' with 2 bunk beds, 'Swallows Nest' with 5 single beds, 'Swallows Nest 2 & 3' each with 2 single beds. 'Hay Loft One & Two' each with 5 single beds, 'Twin Gables 1' with 3 bunk beds and finally, an adaptable ground floor room (Twin Gables 2) suitable for disabled use with an en-suite wet room. Kitchen:

6 ring commercial gas cooker with double oven, separate electric grill, two 75 litre electric ovens both with grill options, commercial extraction hood, 2 fridges, freezer, microwaves and hot water boiler. 2 commercial stainless sink units, stainless steel work tops for food preparation.

Utility:
2 stainless steel sinks, 2 domestic washing machines, coin operated tumble dryer, dishwasher, hot water boiler for tea / coffee.

Outdoor Toilets:

Female (3), Male (2 urinal & 3 toilets) with H&C wash basins, 2 male & 2 female showers.

Additional Facilities:
2 x large family tents (5/6 person), 4 x 8 person Igloo/Pod tents, 1 x 6 person (Leaders) tent, additional small tents.

1.5 acre field with zip wire, 4.5 acre football field, volleyball & badminton courts, a challenge course, 12 pedal Go-Karts and track, lake with 13 paddle boats, 5 row boats, Patio area with picnic tables and a camp fire area.

Sports Barn (or Meeting Area), 13m x 14m with equipment for football, table tennis, volleyball, skittles, and dart boards, a 'Chill Out Zone' with snooker / pool tables, air hockey table football, DVD player and large screen multimedia display with speaker system and a dedicated coffee bar area with drinks making facilities.

The Zip Wire is amazing, we didn't want to go home.

Conditions of Booking
NO electrical items may be brought to site and used unless the manager agrees and can be shown proof that the items have either passed a PAT (portable Appliance Test ) & Inspection within the previous 12 months, or can show proof that the item is less than 12 months old. Any items (e.g. phone chargers) agreed to by the manager MUST be unplugged when not in use. Any items found onsite outside of these conditions will be confiscated and held until the owner(s) leaves the site.
Under no circumstances should additional standalone heaters be brought to site for safety reasons.
Anyone found to be abusing or deliberately damaging property or equipment, will be asked to leave the site immediately.

Booking Procedure
Once a booking has been made we will hold the dates for 14 days to allow time for the deposit to be either transferred into our account or paid by other means. By paying the deposit you agree to our terms and conditions. A further payment of 50% of the projected booking fee (less any deposit paid) is due 28 days before the date of arrival and the remaining 50% is due on or before arrival. Any adjustment either way will be made at the end of your stay when a final invoice or credit note will be issued. If the deposit is not received we will remove the "provisional booking" status on our website dairy and the dates will be available to the first group to pay the deposit.

Cancellation policy
The initial booking deposit is non- refundable and non- transferable unless we are able to re-sale the original dates.
If you cancel between 3 and 6 calendar months of the booked start date then 50% of the estimated full fee will be invoiced.
Cancellation less than 3 calendar months before the booked start date will be invoiced at the full minimum fee.

Site Timings
We would normally ask that you do not arrive on site before 15.00hrs in order to give us time to ensure that all is ready for you.
We would also ask you to clear the bedrooms by 10.00 on the day of departure if requested to by the manager, and the site by 12.00. However this will very much depend on when the next group are due to arrive and is again to allow our housekeeping team time to prepare the site


Seasons
Peak = All school holidays including Bank holiday weekends. Off Peak = all other times
TRAC uses the Gloucestershire LEA calendar for School Holiday dates - Details HERE Prices are inclusive of facilities for groups of over (25) e.g. Dining hall, Kitchen, Sports barn, Sports equipment and use of football field.

Nominal charges are made for some facilities e.g. Hire of tents, Archery taster sessions.
