A busy day at TRAC - Tom Roberts Adventure Centre, 3 archery sessions with Longlevens school (lots of golds scored!), preparation for displaying the Counties Family Day banner and a new Trac Newent flag!
Tom Roberts Adventure Centre were pleased to welcome back Create2Inspire recently with 54 Year 6 pupils and teachers from Dunalley Primary School.
What a day, and blessed with some warm, fine weather too, rather than being in the classroom or investigating their local area, the children had the opportunity to explore a contrasting locality, e.g. a rural rather than an urban environment.
Always great to get feedback like this - Thank you Mike & Sara, it was our pleasure.
"Wow, wow wow wow ! What an incredible weekend, thank you so much for making it so special, there are so many things you did which meant Sara and I could enjoy the day, honestly the best bit (of many) was the fire pit idea, it was an incredible bonding moment for me and my eldest, his girlfriend, Thank you so much !"
2 very special visitors at 'coffee break' on Tuesday, our volunteers were joined by Clive and Sylvia Richards whose Charity has supported the building the new shower and toilet block. More photos to follow.
A typical Tuesday workday with our volunteers who give their time and for which we are extremely grateful, along with some of the variety of flowers growing around the Trac Newent site, the guests seemed to be enjoying the day on the lake as well. (sorry I missed you out Colin, you were hiding down in the copse!) New volunteers always welcome on a Tuesday or Friday, come along and say 'hello'.
