The Haleon Peace Garden (named after Harry and Leonora Cooper and using the first part of both their names) is a maintained garden area designed and landscaped in 2010 by Chelsea Flower Show gold medallist, Julian Dowell. The Peace Garden is set apart from the main site and offers a place where visitors can either sit quietly and rest or pray. It is beautifully laid out with flowers and shrubs and has covered and open seating areas, including a grassy patch surrounding a cross, where group prayer or other quiet activities could take place. We would love to encourage you to use this as a place to reflect or just to get away from the hustle and bustle of the camp while you are here.
