Before then day visits may be able to go ahead with the correct precautions in place once the gradual relaxation of restrictions has started. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss this further
We thank all our past and new guests for their understanding at this very difficult time. As always we continue to be thankful for Tom Roberts leaving Yates Farm to us in his will.
God bless and thank you.
The Tom Roberts Adventure Centre offers camping and indoor accommodation for groups on a 22 acre site with a good standard of accommodation, ample parking for all your needs and attractive rates for group bookings, amid beautiful surroundings in the Gloucestershire countryside, close to the old market town of Newent.
To provide facilities within a Christian environment which enables families, young people and children to participate in and experience recreational, sporting, outdoor and leisure activities with the aim of developing the mental, moral, spiritual and physical well-being of the individual and enhance their maturity and life experience.
To maximise their ability to be fully mature members of society regardless of financial, social, home and physical circumstances or disability.
Tom Roberts donated 22 acres and associated farm buildings to develop a Christian based adventure centre. The centre has been named in his memory and is often abbreviated to TRAC. It is predominately (but not exclusively) for young people from various backgrounds who would benefit from experiencing time camping and undertaking activities, vastly different from those of their day to day lives.
Once booked by a group or individual the site is exclusively theirs for the duration of the booking in order to safeguard the wellbeing of any young people onsite and to this end TRAC staff are DBS checked.
"Having spent 3 days residential with a group of Year 3&4 children the staff at TRAC went above and beyond to make our stay adventurous, and exciting despite the sometimes appalling weather, even down to testing our raft building skills in extremely cold water. Not many centre managers would put themselves in that position. Thank you so much to all of the staff at TRAC." Heather Harrington
